One of the drawbacks to being the web designer is that when the spambots go trolling for e-mail addresses, mine is always on the list. I get ads for everything from textbooks, to new ways to improve our Google rankings, to strange science-y things whose functions I only vaguely comprehend.
When I was 17 years old, a man followed me. It wasn’t the first time, and it was far from the last. But this is the one story that I can point to and say “This. This right here is why I am always aware of my surroundings.” This is the one single time that I knew, without a doubt, that I was in danger.
Wednesday, instead of writing a blog post, I finished off Hunger Games. I’ve been meaning to read it for a while, but last weekend my friend Mira loaned me her copy. And since Moose wanted to go see the movie, I thought that it would be good to finish the book before we went.
